THE Windhoek Agricultural show 2014 is here yet again and Agra is going all out with an extensive retail exhibition and support to various livestock championships.
Suppliers of Agra who will exhibit at the stand include Effekto with their gardening products; Feedpro with lots of advice regarding animal nutrition; Pegasus (Castrol); Etameko Trading, a supplier of a variety of products, inter alia solar energy products; Safequip, a leading manufacturer and supplier of fire fighting equipment; Norbrook for animal health products and Boskos, who specialises in game feed.
The irrigation kit, developed by Agra ProVision will also be exhibited at the Agra stand, while ProVision’s experts in various fields in the agricultural industry, will be present at the show to assist and consult agricultural producers on a number of farming aspects.
“This is one of the biggest events that we support and an ideal opportunity to show our involvement in the agricultural industry as and the wide variety of products that Agra offers through its retail and arms, ammunition and outdoor divisions,” says Abelene Boer, Senior Manager for Marketing at Agra.
For the camper and outdoor lover and the shottist or hunter, Safari Den’s exhibition is a feast for the eyes and a very popular attraction at the Windhoek Show. This division of Agra always gives it their best shot to display as many of its products as possible. Agra’s specialist veterinary outlet, Auas Vet Med will also be present with animal care products as well as an exciting range of horse products.
Agra’s monthly specials this month coincides with the Windhoek Show period. More than 200 products are offered at all Agra branches at prices that are difficult to beat. Free pamphlets for this promotion as well as some of the special promotion products will also be on sale at the Agra stand.
Agra does not only add value to the retail division of the show, but also supports the livestock championships. The Interbreed Dual-purpose championships have been supported by Agra for a number of years consecutively, through generous sponsorship in the form of prizes for winners and a trophy for the champion bull. Agra also sponsors the prizes for the best kept stables for the second year and is this year involved as a sponsor of the National van Rooy championships and the Persian lamb championships. Agra also supports the Windhoek Show Cattle Committee’s annual fund raising during the show, with big prizes for winners of the lucky draw.
“Although the Windhoek Show is the largest show involving Agra’s support and involvement, Agra supports and participates in various agricultural and trade shows throughout the year that are evenly important for us to connect with current and potential clients, partners and other stakeholders,” said Boer.
