SOUTH African DJ who in the past used a number of pseudonyms, but now only uses DJ Style embraced Namibia for the second time over the weekend.
He is well known for his deep house sounds that are likely to put one in a trance.
Dj Style was hosted by local organisers and his event took place at DMT, a place that is seen by many clubgoers as serene.
Style performed in his home country before proceeding to Lesotho and Botswana and then concluded the tour of his debut album in Namibia. He has performed before with Uhuru, Mafikizolo and Black Coffee.
Style’s opening was led by Dj Curtis, Dj Ambizzy and many other local Djs that showed their talent with a mixture of house mixes, RnB and hip hop, closing off with deep house.
Although it was cold, Style’s show saw an overwhelming crowd that eagerly waited for his performance. He played his well-known tracks such as Nomvula which he sings well with his golden voice and took the lead as his number one hit song not only in Namibia but also South Africa, Lesotho and Botswana.
He later performed Umakgwapheni which had the crowd going wild with excitement as it’s still the trending song followed by the rest of his album songs.
Not only was Style performing he was also delivering what his crowd wanted to hear and was pleased to see so much support from the audience who enjoyed his music .They were lively and responding to his music.
The security of DMT was tight from the entrance till the end of the performance. The bouncers made sure they were no fights and stopped the crowd from coming near the performers. The whole event was pleasing in every way; it was exciting to finally witness the legendary Style performing his best music.
