WITH just three weeks to go before the much anticipated Standard Bank Auto Show which is held in partnership with the Biltongfees, vehicle enthusiasts and public spectators are in for a treat with the latest announcement for this year’s Auto Show specials.
“Standard Bank Vehicle and Asset Finance (VAF) is pleased to announce that it will be offering an interest rate of prime less 1.75 percent to all buyers at our upcoming Auto Show, which will be held at the SKW Sports Fields on the 8th and 9th of July 2016,” said Standard Bank’s Head of Vehicle and Asset Finance Wim Lotter.
In addition to the interest rate Standard Bank Namibia will also allow all prospective vehicle buyers to enter into an agreement over 60 months with no deposit*. (*Terms and Conditions apply).
This year’s theme ties in with the evolution of vehicles ranging from the display of the oldest models to the new and latest additions, hence the theme: “Old versus the New – Legacy Innovation.” This year’s theme also coincides with the Old Wheelers Club’s 30th anniversary, which will be present at the upcoming auto show.
“Last year, we had a total number of 22 000 visitors over the course of two days. This year we expect approximately 25 000 visitors,” says Lotter. “Based on last year’s success with a total revenue value of N$74-million, I am optimistic that this year’s Auto Show will exceed our expectations once again. We are expecting 32 dealerships to participate in the show,” he says.
The Standard Bank Auto Show is the most prestigious event on the Namibian calendar and a popular event in the automobile industry.
