Brave Warriors Head Coach, Ricardo Mannetti today called up a 20- men-strong squad for the away African Cup of Nations qualifier against Senegal on 03 September.
Omitted from the squad is midfield wizard Willy Stephanus because he is reportedly clubless. However, Mannetti called three other unattached players for training in the likes of Petrus Shitembi, Hendrik Somaeb and Angula da Coasta.
The local-based players, reported for training at the NFA Technical Field while foreign-based players are expected to join the training in a few days time.
The Group K, fixture is scheduled at the Stade Leopold Se’dar Senghor in Dakar. Namibia is third on six points with Senegal on top of the summit with 15 points.
Burundi is second in the standing with six points while Niger is rock-bottom on three points.
