COMMUNITY Catering and Cleaning Services shares their revenue from fishing quotas with the community of Baumgartsbrunn of Khomas Hochland Rural as they recently donated food parcels and sewing machines to the value of N$110 000.
This was done in line with the Harambee Prosperity Plan and in response to the call by, the President of the Republic of Namibia, Dr Hage Geingob. The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources Bernhardt Esau officiated at the handover ceremony and expressed his satisfaction with Community Catering and Cleaning Services for its continuous support. The company donated a craft centre and ablution facilities to the same community last year in addition to donations of food parcels, sewing machines and the provision of training and wheelchairs. This year 80 households received food parcels valued at N$ 10 000, and three new sewing machines valued at N$6 000 were also donated increasing the total number of donated machines to eight. Training in needlework and bead-making was sponsored at a cost of N$ 30 000 as well as related equipment amounting to N$ 4 400.
