THE total number of 28 semi-finalists from 328 000 entries were last week narrowed to 10 finalists for the Woermann Brock N$1 million cash giveaway as the competition enters its final stage tomorrow.
This was done in the presence of senior auditor Patience Mhou from the Stier Vente Associates who came to verify the names of the 10 finalists. Also present was Miss Namibia second princess Varaakuani Hambira who drew out the 10 names at a ceremony held at Woermann Hyper at the Khomas Grove Mall. The lucky 10 who are in the running for the big prize are; G. Haita, K. Muanondele, F. Kamti, A.H. Sizario, T. Abraham, S. Mutilifa, N. Shapi, C. Uusiku, M. Kalangula and A. Louw.
This is a second year in a row that Woermann Brock is running the competition as confirmed by marketing consultant Konrad Schwieger. Schwieger said the main objective for the competition was interaction with club members and to strengthen the relationship between Woermann Brock and its customers.
In the quest to create a new millionaire in Namibia, the 10 finalists will each to be given a key, from which only one will be the correct link to unlock a safe containing the N$1 000 000 cash; the finalist who unlocks the safe is the winner. The grand finale is scheduled for tomorrow at Woermann Hyper.
