FOR their first time ever in Namibia, join Argentinean clowns Mariana Silva and Juan Cruz Bracamonte for an unforgettable night of circus performances at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) Gallery on Friday, 30 June at 19h00. At a time when the world may seem bleak, join the Mandragora Circus members all the way from Argentina, for a night of wonder and happiness! Mandragora Circus is a wordless theatre and circus performance for audiences of all ages. Two clowns tell a story, where comedy, love and thoughts are understood without words. The performers speak an international language – laughter.
Circus stunts, music, juggling acts, and aerial acrobatics give shape to a performance in which circus becomes poetry. It is a performance in which the gestures allow the audience to imagine situations, conflicts and solutions. It is a show that is delicate, with a touch of comedy, and an attractive story which children and adults alike can enjoy. Mandragora Circus has performed in more than 30 countries in the Americas and Europe, and has been touring Africa, visiting Morocco, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
They will now be in Namibia for the first time. Admission is N$80 in advance and N$100 at the door, while children under-12 will pay half-price.
