The FNB Whisky Festival, held recently at the Windhoek Country Club Resort, has been described as a great success.
Madri van Wyk, who is the Marketing Manager at FNB Namibia, said that on the Saturday night, the festival hosted over 800 visitors, who enjoyed premium whisky and a great night out in the capital.
“We thank the Namibian public for their enthusiasm and great support, and promise to make next year’s festival bigger and better,” Van Wyk said.
“We want to congratulate Katusha Persendt, who won the business card competition on Saturday night. She walked away with an all-expenses paid trip to tour the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, South Africa, including two return flight tickets from Windhoek to Cape Town, two nights’ accommodation at a B&B in Stellenbosch, as well as airport transfers,” added Van Wyk.
Persendt said, “I am ecstatic, and can’t believe I won this amazing prize! Thank you FNB and thank you for a well-organised event.”
