GOVERNMENT has dismissed claims that there is bad blood between President Hage Geingob and the Director-General of the Namibia Central Intelligence Service (NCIS), Phillemon Malima, while saying further that a weekly newspaper that had published an article about an unfolding clash between the Head of State and the spy chief was peddling “fake news”.
In a joint statement, issued by State House, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and the Office of the Attorney-General, government maintained that the relationship between Geingob and Malima remains “cordial and solid”.
