SALLY ‘Boss Madam’ has released another dope music video for her latest single, titled What You Say.
The video was shot by Reggie Films, in collaboration with Desert Films, who are undoubtedly the top two music video companies in the country.
The launch of the video was held at The Avenue, an uptown, trendy Windhoek restaurant, where the smart casual crowd meet to socialise.
Both Sally and her husband/ producer, Dj Kboz, thanked the media for being present.
“I’d like to thank everyone that has been supporting Sally in the media, without your support none of this would be possible,” DJ Kboz said. Although the video was only uploaded on YouTube on 10 August, it has been featuring on the Africa Top Ten chart for two weeks.
The chart show can be viewed on Trace Africa, which is DSTV channel 326.
The song is set to be an instant summer hit, and will definitely have ladies dancing all through the season.The song is produced by DJ Kboz, as the couple continue to show the country and continent just how well they gel together musically.
The eccentric songstress always delivers great music, and has been doing so ever since her introduction to the scene as part of the group, Cyberspace. After winning numerous gongs at the Namibia Annual Music Awards (NAMAs), with hits like, Natural, Boss Madam and Bim Bim, which features South African afro-house artist Busiswa, Sally has become a mainstay of the local music scene. She has been nominated in the Best Female Artist in Southern Africa category for this year’s All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), which is scheduled for 4 and 5 November. She will be competing against other top Southern African female artists, including Busiswa, Babez Wodumo, Thandiswa, Lebo Sekgobela and Amanda Black, who are all from South Africa, while Zimbabwean artist, Ru, is also nominated.
