WINDHOEK is hosting the Eat Wild Festival, which started on Tuesday and ends on Saturday, 11 November.
The festival aims to promote Namibia’s wildlife, which is believed to be one of the most iconic products in Namibia. Ten popular restaurants in Windhoek – Hartlief Rooftop Bistro, the Olive Restaurant, Lemon Tree Restaurant, the Social Restaurant, Que Tapas Bar and Restaurant, Nice Restaurant and Bar, Sumi, JoJo’s Music and Arts Café, Hotel Heinitzburg, Krisjan’s Bistro, Nyama, Jonno’s Bistro, Fresh and Wild at Utopia, the Stellenbosch Winery and the Independence Museum – will celebrate the week with special menu items highlighting the importance of game meat in Namibia. A game meat recipe competition is also expected to commence on Saturday, with amazing prizes to be won.
