… But tourism ministry rejects these and other allegations

DISGRUNTLED employees of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, based at the Etosha National Park, are accusing the ministry’s senior management of making arbitrary staff reshuffles, which have left the park in shambles, with facilities like toilets going for days without being cleaned, among a host of other problems.
The workers also accuse Permanent Secretary, Dr Malan Lindeque, of having allegedly facilitated the employment of a deputy director in the ministry, which has led to disunity, based on racial grounds, among staff at the national park.
“The PS has brought a white deputy director, after hearing from his fellow whites on social media that he (identity known to Confidente) should become the deputy director and things will be run properly at Etosha.
