MDL International Trade will invest up to N$700 million to construct a fuel storage facility in the town of Usakos, Confidente has learnt.
Antonio Miranda, the firm’s Business Development Manager, told Confidente in an interview this week that MDL had begun with the process of acquiring the required land, as well as doing an environment impact assessment.
“Namibia is a strategic geographical location, which makes it the most adequate and strategic avenue for landlocked neighbouring countries, particularly those that are highly dependent on fuel imports and are currently suffering from the lack of an adequate logistic platform.
