DEPUTY Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, says that the majority of National Assembly parliamentarians are young people, who are below the age of 60.
She said this while responding to questions on why young people are mostly encouraged to go into entrepreneurship, but seem to be left out of governmental institutions, where they could have been allowed to make decisions affecting them.
A question was also put to her on why the ministry of youth, which is perceived of not making a significant impact on youth developmental agendas, is being headed by an elderly minister, Jerry Ekandjo, who is 70 years old.
