… HIV, prostate cancer, hypertension tests to be conducted countrywide

THE Ministry of Works and Transport, with support from the German government through the Deutsche GesellschaftfürInternationaleZusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and in collaboration with the Walvis Bay Corridor Group (WBCG) and the Ministry of Health and Social Services, has embarked on a biometric screening campaign for all works ministry employees and transport sector stakeholders in all regions of Namibia.
The employee wellness screening campaign will focus on providing sector employees with an opportunity to be screened for HIV, cholesterol, glucose, prostate cancer, eye problems and hypertension (high blood pressure).
