ALL roads will lead to Chez Ntemba on Saturday for the biggest Choto Summer Party in Windhoek.
Organised by DJ Siya from Chotofela Entertainment, the show will see Zambezi local music sensation, Spinny and the Green Kids, bringing the heat on the dancefloor, with their traditional inspired dance moves and Caprivian folk music.
Spinny, the lead singer of the band, is loved and adored by many in the Zambezi region, and is regarded as a living legend.
Katima Mulilo’s finest deejays, DJ Siya and DJ Chanky Briz, will be playing a mix of Afro-house and traditional music.
DJ Siya says that anyone can come and experience the way his culture is celebrated in Katima Mulilo.
Not only will there be music, but the organisers have included a dance competition, with special prizes to be won.
“This will be the party of the year,” said DJ Siya, who also recently released a single titled Zumba, featuring Dr Tawanda from Zimbabwe and Chomza from South Africa, which has amazed many at the Dr Hage Geingob Cup. Chez Ntemba in-house deejays, DJ Lilo, DJ Frank and DJ Armando will be opening the decks. This will be the third time the Choto Summer Party will be held.
“Come and witness how people party in Zambezi,” said DJ Siya. The damage at the door is N$50 for an ordinary ticket, while VIPs pay N$150.
