FORMER World Boxing Organization (WBO) bantamweight world champion, Paulus ‘The Rock’ Ambunda is reportedly hard at work preparing for the World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Bantamweight International title against Tanzanian Nasibu Ramadhan at The Dome on 29 December in Swakopmund.
Speaking to Confidente this week, Salute Boxing Academy Spokesperson, Armas Shivute said that Ambunda has been working extremely very hard for the upcoming title fight.
“He has been very hungry for some real action and success and this is the opportunity for Ambunda to rebuild himself and his career and that will only be realistic ones he is committed and grab the opportunity presented to him,” said Shivute.
Looking at the boxer’s professional record, Shivute said that though Ramadhan’s record stands at 35 fights, 24 wins, nine losses and two draw the Namibian pugilist record is as impressive as his Tanzanian counterpart.
