By John Tuerijama WITH merely a few months left before 2018 Commonwealth Games kick off in Queensland, Australia in April, Namibia hope to compete at the games and bring home the elusive medals now that the Namibia National Olympic Committee (NNOC) received N$ 4 million from the Namibia Sport Commission (NSC) recently. Responding to questions by Confidente this week, NNOC President, Abner Xoagub said that Namibia received 27 spots for athletes from the Commonwealth Games Federation. He said that the sport codes Namibia might compete in are athletics, bowls, boxing, cycling, gymnastics, para-sport, swimming and triathlon.
