… UK delegation scheduled to touch down in September

ARCADIA Football Club (FC) is likely to expand its wings, following discussions late last year to have the club partner with a London-based First Division side, which will see young, aspiring Namibian players being exposed to the United Kingdom footballing set-up.
Confidente visited the opening of the registration period for Arcadia players for the 2018 football season this past Saturday, and spoke to club secretary and team manager, Mathew Haikali, who said that late last year they had lengthy discussions with London-based Mike Matroos, who is originally from Namibia, about a possible partnership with a First Division side.
He said a UK delegation is expected to touch down at the Hosea Kutako International Airport later this year, for possible talent identification process.
