A deal to purchase South Africa parastatal, the Industrial Development Corporation’s (IDC’s) 10 percent stake in the Namibia’s Rössing Uranium Mine for N$402.731 million has fallen through the mat, as the Namibian government does not see it as a good buy, given the depressed uranium prices and that the mine is nearing the end of its lifespan.
