REPAIRS to the two pumping lines that convey water from the Calueque Dam into the canal that feeds northern Namibian towns has left many inhabitants and small-scale farmers in the Omusati region severely affected by water shortages.
The region is currently experiencing constant water interruptions, leaving many with no option but to brave their thirst, until the situation returns back to normal.
