…Raiza sparkles into a fashion killer, top notch MC
By Jeoffrey Mukubi
TWENTY-one year-old Aina ‘Raiza’ Kweyo, who hails from a small village called Ontananga on the outskirts of Oniipa in the Oshikoto region, is slowly transforming herself into a Namibian melanin queen and all round fashion killer.
An actress in her own right, radio presenter and an up-and-coming master of ceremonies (MC), Raiza will soon be a media studies and drama graduate from the University of Namibia (UNAM).
She always satisfies her fashion appetite by displaying her great taste at events such as the annual Windhoek Fashion Week, Namibian Annual Music Awards and the Simply You Magazine Fashion and Lifestyle Awards, leaving media personalities turning their heads and craving for more. Raiza never misses a spot amongst the country’s best dressed socialites at these prestige events.
Raiza recently started dabbling in hosting events. Confidente has been following her on her social media pages and asked her about her big break to which she replied: “I don’t have my big break yet, I’m still waiting for it”. According to her, she started to MC during her second year at UNAM for a friend’s fashion show before adding that people started noticing her when she was a presenter at Base FM.
