MINISTER of Education, Arts and Culture, Katrina Hanse-Himarwa, has exclusively revealed that she has cancelled several bogus construction projects, purportedly for teacher accommodation and school facilities, which were costing the ministry millions of dollars.
Although Hanse-Himarwa could not give an estimate of how much the ministry had lost, she said that she personally launched an investigation into the fictitious activities, when she was appointed as education minister in 2015.
