FOOTBALL lovers from the southern town of Luderitz will once again be treated to a festivity of top notch football action when 10 clubs from the great //Kharas region, take on each other in the lucrative Harders Cup scheduled for 31 March.
The tournament established in 2017, by Luderitz-native, Tim Ekandjo saw six clubs competing in the maiden competition while the second edition whose final showdown is pencilled for 1 April will have 10 teams vying for top honours. The Harders Cub has this time around attracted clubs from as far as Keetmanshoop and Rosh Pinah, which are anticipated to give the Luderitz-based clubs a run for their money in their quest to take the glittering trophy to their respective towns.
The 2017 maiden edition saw Youngsters Football Club (FC) crowned champions after mauling a town’s foe Novanam FC by 5 -3 in an action-packed final showdown at the Luderitz Sport Stadium.
