SOUTH African State-owned entity, the Industrial Development Corporation, has confirmed to Confidente that it is engaging with the other shareholders at Rössing Uranium Mine, through the company’s secretariat, regarding possible disposal of its 10 percent stake in the business for N$403m.
This follows an earlier report, carried in Confidente last month, that Namibia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy will not be purchasing the IDC stake, which has seen billions being shipped across the Orange River over the past decades
