A measly N$57.3 million has been collected so far during the second tax amnesty period, out of a principle debt N$4.8 billion, Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary, Ericah Shafudah, has confirmed to Confidente.
The second tax amnesty began on 11 September 2017, which granted individuals and companies a further grace period, after a paltry N$300 million of the then principle tax debt of N$5.1 billion, was collected during the first amnesty period which ran until 31 July last year.
