… Deadline to respond to graft allegations lapses
By Elvis Muraranganda
POLITICIANS and officials, who find themselves guilty of corruption and maladministration will face the full wrath of the law or President Hage Geingob’s remedial reprimand, State House has revealed.
This comes hot on the heel of the lapsing of Wednesday deadline for some Cabinet ministers to pronounce themselves on allegations of corruption, maladministration and/or incompetency leveled against them.
The directive was issued by Geingob during the opening of the Cabinet session of the year 2018, where he said he was particularly disturbed by allegations levelled against the Ministry of Works and Transport; the Office of the Attorney-General; the Ministry of Mines and Energy and the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
