NAMIBIA Wildlife Resorts (NWR) vehicle operators recently underwent an advanced 4×4 driving skill training from Indongo Toyota in Southern Namibia with the sole purpose of refreshing their vehicle handling abilities.
The drivers were shown how to get the most of their 4×4 vehicles in different environments with great ease.
According NWR Corporate Communications and Online Media Manager Mufaro Njabulo Nesongano, as a tourism company that transports tourists around Namibia’s various terrains, NWR saw it fit for its vehicle operators to be better equipped with the handling of the 4×4 Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser vehicles that the company uses for its expeditions.
“We place great value towards the safety of our guests, that is why we were compelled to update our vehicle operators’ skills with the latest knowledge on how to handle the cars we transport our valuable clients in”, said Nesongano. NWR’s senior mechanic Salomo Kuwa indicated that: “This training will equally reduce the maintenance costs of our vehicles because the drivers now understand how to better handle them”.
