…As Home Affairs probes matter
By Confidente Reporter
THE Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration will launch an investigation into a case in which an 11 year-old girl has two birth certificates from two different fathers.
This comes after the minor’s alleged father, Salamo Kandjella opened a police case against the girl’s mother, Claudia Malima for fraud after she allegedly misled him into believing that he is the biological father of the child. This led to him paying maintenance since 2006.
According to duplicate documents seen by Confidente, the first birth certificate was issued in 2006 while the second was registered five years later, in 2011.
