PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has refuted allegations that he was paid US$10 000 in bribes between 2008 and 2009 by Areva while Minister of Trade.
Responding to questions posed by leader of the opposition party, PDM, McHenry Venaani, Geingob stated that contrary to media reports, he was only paid US$300 000 by a Canadian Company UraMin during the time he was not the Minister of Trade and Industry but a mere Swapo back-bencher doing consultancy work.
