GOVERNMENT is losing hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue annually through its porous major borders, that have seen multi-national syndicates operate well-oiled smuggling rings of contraband, Confidente has learnt.
The contraband identified as illicit drugs, alcohol and cigarettes has led to a flourishing black market business for the goods locally.
