THE Namibia Financial Institution Union (NAFINU) and the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) are entangled in a wage dispute as management wants to award themselves a seven percent salary increase which is way above directive issued by Public Enterprise Minister, Leon Jooste.
NAFINU however has expressed concern that NAMFISA’s negotiation team consists of executive committee member (Exco) and are conflicted since they are using the same platform to negotiate their percentage and demand that any agreed percentage be applied across the board including the exco.
