… kwaito master gets nominated for Afrimma 2018

THE Dogg has once again bagged two international nominations at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) 2018 in the categories of Best Male Southern Africa and Best Rap Act. His official public relations agency congratulated him by praising and honouring him for such a prestigious accomplishment. Founder of Poiyah Media, Ilke Platt excitedly announced The Dogg’s nominations and encouraged fans to support. “When we hand pick our business personalities we look for a trusted, credible brand that resonates with ours. As we gear up for the biggest event that Namibia will experience on September 29, we learnt about the nominations last week and would like to congratulate the Mshasho brand for its nomination,” said Platt. According to The Dogg, he is thrilled to be nominated for the fifth time in a row for the AFRIMMA as the awards celebrate their fifth edition and seek to award artists across Africa for their hard work. The prestigious awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2018. “I feel great being nominated for the fifth time in a row and right now I feel like a Namibian ambassadorfor having been consistent in representing my country to the international market,” said The Dogg, also expressing optimism to secure a win for Namibia. AFRIMMA is the only award ceremony in the Diaspora that caters to all musical genres including Afrobeats, assiko, bongo, decale, funana, genge, highlife, hiplife, kwaito, lingala and soukous. The Dogg will compete with other African acts, such as Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, Olamide and Sarkodie. He will also be competing for Best Male Southern Africa against the house philanthropist Prince Kaybee, Jah Prayza as well as Roberto.
