Ranked number two, by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Namibia’s pugilist Walter Kautondokwa is inches away from challenging the middleweight world title. Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) Nestor ‘Sunshine’ Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy Owner, Nestor Tobias in a media release today believes that Kautondonkwa for the boxer to reach the number two sport, he undoubtedly finally get a chance to fight for the WBO Middleweight world title. Tobias said the only boxer rated above Kautondokwa is Demetrius Andrade, and the good news is that he (Andrade) is scheduled to fight the WBO world champion, Billy Joe Saunders, on 20 October at the TD Garden in Boston, USA. “As soon as they step in the ring, I expect the WBO to declare Kautondokwa the mandatory challenger at number one. “I am happy with the progress Kautondokwa has made so far, it has been a long journey and I am confident that the WBO will declare him the mandatory challenger as soon as Billy Saunders and Andrade steps in the ring. Whoever wins will have no choice but to face Kautondokwa. They have been avoiding him for a long time now, but the time has now come that they will have to face him whether they like it or not and we are looking forward to that day” said Nestor. Tobias also believes that such a fight could happen in the first quarter of 2019, adding that he plans for another tune up fight to keep the-soon-to-be mandatory challenger in shape. “I know that Kautondokwa is the future of the Middleweight division. His work rate and disciplined has been incredibly high and I cannot wait for him to make the most of such an opportunity and become Namibia’s 5th world champion,” emphasized the trainer. The Namibian boxer remains undefeated after 17fights and is proudly promoted by the MTC Nestor Sunshine Promotions.
