All roads led to The Hills this past Saturday for the Windhoek Spring Fiesta, which was by far one of the best events Doctatainment has held to date. The event saw a galore of local artists and 25 DJs who rocked the party from as early as 12h00 right until midnight. Profit, a fairly new face to the music industry said that the event went smooth. “The event was very well planned and I enjoyed every minute of it,” Profit said. Khadija, a multi-talented artist, also enjoyed the show but said most deejays did not have enough time to play as they had 15 – 20minute sets. “I loved it, but my set was just too short,” Khadija said. Other performances included female rapper Lioness who gave a stellar performance, with coordinated dance moves and bringing local pop star, Oteya, to join her to perform their hit ‘DI Matta’. Gazza also gave a brilliant performance and brought up a couple of his fans to join him on stage while performing his greatest hits. Spring Fiesta regulars Paradox, performed their new song titled ‘Kaka’ to the surprise and praise of the crowd. Other performers included Jaleel, LMPC, Sally Boss Madam and KK. Doctatainment’s co-founder John Cloete described the Spring Fiesta as a definite success: “I would say it was a success, we changed the venue and introduced new stuff that people weren’t used to, but they liked it”.
